Roles in the Team

Ace - The Tactical Starter
Ace launches the race, sprinting through the first segment before handing the Mace to Joker in the exchange zone.
- As a key tactical player, Ace's role is to explode off the start line, setting a powerful pace.
- Aces must balance raw speed with strategy, ensuring a smooth handoff for the final sprint.
A strong start from Ace can make the difference between victory and defeat.

Joker - The Game-Changing Finisher
Joker takes the Mace from Ace in the exchange zone and powers through to the finish line.
- As the closer, Joker is responsible for delivering the final time that defines the team's success.
- Jokers thrive under pressure, knowing that a decisive finish can turn the tide of any race.
When the stakes are high, it's the Joker who seals the team's fate.

Runner - The Steady Force
Runners are the backbone of the team, covering the full 1-mile distance from start to finish without substitutions.
- They set the race tempo, dictating the team's overall strategy and outcome.
- Their endurance and resilience allow them to maintain a strong pace, pushing their team toward victory.
A fast and steady Runner lays the foundation for success.

Team Ranking & Time Adjustments
In Ace Battle Mile, team rankings are determined by the total race time, with special adjustments applied to ensure fair competition.
The team's final time
is calculated based on the times of the three Team Runners and the times of the two Ace & Joker pairs.
Time Adjustments
Time is added to the combined Ace & Joker time: +24 seconds for Men's teams; +26 seconds to Women's teams.
Competitive Team Ranking
The lower the total time, the higher the ranking. Our ranking system ensures fair competition across all team compositions.
